Public-Relations.

Bustin' Thru Entertainment is a small public-relations consulting business located in the Washington, D.C. metro area that specializes in personally assisting independent jazz artists in: soliciting “gigs”, booking independent venues, publicizing their performances, and building up a regional-fan base.

Bustin' Thru Entertainment started in 2007 with jazz guitarist, composer, and arranger Roberto Tyson, and it has grown to provide public relation services for his musical associates.

Because we are a small public-relations consulting business and we customize our services to our artists needs, we don’t actively “recruit” new jazz musicians but instead we prefer to showcase a selected number of musicians.

We are currently featuring the music of: TNT Jazz Duo, Cachaça Brazilian and Latin Jazz Trio, N-Groove, and Sabroso Latin Jazz Ensemble.

TNT Jazz Duo, consisting of flute and guitar, produce a dynamic blend of R&B, Latin and traditional jazz to create a neo-jazz amalgam that is innovative, rhythmically infectious and appealing to a wide audience.

Cachaça Brazilian and Latin Jazz Trio, composed of flute, guitar, and vocals, explore the world of improvisation from a rhythm and blues and funk musical tradition but work it within the framework of Brazilian jazz standards and classic Latin folksong. These artists provide the listener with an emotional panoramic view of classic triste love-lost ballads, coquettish bossa nova, sultry sambas, and love inflamed boleros.

N-Groove is a group of incredibly talented musicians and songwriters who have joined forces to create "radio-friendly" groove oriented jazz music. Together their musical influences combine to create a genuinely unique sound that overwhelmingly connects with listeners. The members of N-groove blend jazz, R&B instrumentals with Pop influences seamlessly.

Sabroso Latin jazz Ensemble (Sabroso) re-invents traditional jazz standards by infusing them with a genuine Afro-Cuban flavor. The strength of Sabroso’s creativity is due in part to the synergism and natural balance between melodic “lyrical lines” and percussive Afro-Cuban rhythms. Sabroso Latin Jazz Ensemble will entertain audiences with their high energy performance, authentic Afro-Cuban rhythms, and mellifluous Latin jazz instrumentation. This combination undoubtedly propels people to dance even if they are unfamiliar with Latin dancing.
